I’ll bet you are as tired of watching the news as I am. It’s like watching a dodgeball game. All the politicians are in the middle trying to dodge the projectiles coming from one side or the other. Who’s going to win? At this point, we know the winner is unlikely to be we the people.
I’ve tried giving it up; but like flies on bull feces, I’m on it again. Watching in the privacy of my home I can shout at the screen all I want and not be called Maga Man or a Far Left Loony except by my wife. Lately though, all the talk has been about, will he or won’t he? I mean really, shouldn’t they first check to see what the right pronouns are? But, I digress.
So, there are really two different scenarios and it all depends on which HE we are talking about, Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Let’s have fun and take on both!
To be fair, Joe is in office now, so we will start with him. Will he or won’t he survive this only term without the cabinet (democrats) invoking the 25th amendment and removing him? The answer is clearly NO, he won’t survive that. As most Americans now believe, he is incapable due to dementia. So, whoever the puppet masters are behind the west-wing curtains they must soon cut those strings. That leaves us with someone that voters in his party wouldn’t even vote for in their primaries, Kamala Harris, as president of the U.S. And a historic one at that! Yes, first woman (self-identified) sworn into presidential office. Spare us, but they can’t and that worries them too.
No way will they back Kamala for President in the 2024 sweepstakes. She’d be a major embarrassment. She’d have no chance against almost all republicans including Donald J Trump.
So, will former President Donald J Trump run again? After all, his ego will still be running in 2048! His mouth has a way of becoming disconnected from his brain on occasion, but not in the same way as a senile Joe. Trump is that old uncle in your family. You know, “oh, don’t take him seriously - that’s just Uncle Donald talking….”
Maybe as many as 80% of the American voters who are not elected politicians or union presidents don’t want Trump to run again but would support someone who is his philosophical twin. I’m for that. Someone who is pro-life, pro-America, pro-work, pro-immigrant (LEGAL), pro-Israel and pro-voucher based school choice. Someone that is not an isolationist or a sabre-rattler but whose foreign policy position is the same as all great statesmen regardless of country. They look out for the interests of the citizens of the country that elected them. That is democracy at work!
There. I’m done with the Will he or Won’t he! Let’s move on and get back to being Americans. Where we can agree to disagree without name calling and character assassinations. Let’s problem solve and tell those “pundits” to get a real job. A job that accomplishes something at the end of the day that doesn’t divide us. A job that unites us into the economic power we once were.
